How much experience do you need?

Experience of driving as a private hire driver is very important but your customer services skills have to be outstanding. You must be enthusiastic, reliable, have a good knowledge of London and speak good English, you are welcome to apply. You will need a Transport for London private hire licence (formerly known as a PCO Licence).

How much income can I generate?

The answer to this is completely in your hands. The more journeys you complete, the more income you will generate. You will need to be flexible with amount of time your are available for work to ensure that you fully utilise the potential maximising your earnings.

Will I be paid cash for every journey?

As a self-employed driver we understand that cash flow is important to you. We have both account and cash work and our experienced staff will ensure that you have a great balance of both cash and account work.

Account work is paid on a weekly bases. The value of an account job is the same as a cash booking.

Do I pay a set weekly rent or is it commissioned based?

We operate a set rent paid on a weekly basis with nothing to limit your earning potential and nothing further deducted.

Will I be self-employed?

All drivers are self-employed and responsible for their own tax and national insurance.

What do I need to become a driver?

You will need to provide us with your driving licence (both parts), your PCO license, Car PCO Licence, current MOT (if applicable). Your vehicle must be no older than 4 years.
